Play will
consist of 12 players from each club, the game will be quota points, QP
requirements will be based on your Index as of April 15th 2010. For subsequent
meets, adjustments will be reduced by 50% of the amount of points you were
short of your quota not to be decreased greater then 2 points or increased by
50% of the excess points you achieved during the previous meet, not to exceed 5
points.
A trophy
will be awarded to the winning club (highest accumulated plus quota points) at
the end of the year. Competitions remain as in previous years, foursomes by
flight, individuals by flight and the clubs. Foursomes will be made up of one
member from each of four clubs. All competitions will be from the equivalent of
our black tees. Shotgun start time will be 8:30am,
normal coffee, juice, sweets, range balls, and drawing tickets will be
available after 7:00am. Lunch and prizes after completion of play.
Although
this is a competition the goal is to meet other people and have a fun time.
This is shaping up to be a fun year. Signup sheets will be posted in the MGA
notebook approximately a month prior to each meet.
First 12
signers will play. You will be billed through Rosedale G&CC. Anticipated
cost will be $45 at each club.
